Job Summary

The Nursing Manager, under direction of the CNO:

• Develops and manages a mental health or chemical dependency based program of nursing and other clinical services on unit.
• Provides overall management and administrative guidance to specifically assigned programs.
• Assesses educational and programmatic needs.
• Develops policies and collaborates with other health care providers in the provision of services to target populations.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 3 years psych RN experience required
• Required managerial experience
• Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting
• Preferred scheduling experience

Skills: Adaptability, communication, compassion, problem-solving and resilience

License/Certification: Current license to practice nursing in OHIO. Current CPR or BLS certification

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential. This individual must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities. Professional demeanor and appearance is required.
