We are seeking a jack-of-all trades Hotel General Manager for our brand new 94 room Wingate/Hawthorn Suites, Kingman, AZ . Someone who feels equally comfortable developing a guest-centric focus, as dealing with a stopped up toilet . Our Wingate/Hawthorn Suites - open just this month - caters to travelers who value unique and personalized experiences, as well as a fun and relaxing atmosphere, while at the same time expecting best-in-class hospitality, and of course, an amazing night's sleep.
The key performance indicators (KPIs) for our Hotel General Manager's role are:
- Guest Satisfaction
- Gross Revenue of the hotel
- Profitability of the hotel
These are driven by:
- Customer experience and ratings
- RevPAR
- Sales and new business development
You will be focused on revenue generating activities and conscious that our bottom line depends on your ability to increase revenue while keeping an eye on expenses.
This Dynamic Leader will be responsible for the following areas:
Management
- You are leading a TEAM!
- You’re scheduling front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff.
- Front desk. We’re a relatively small property so you may need to cover a shift while working. In fact, most of the time, you are the first face our guests see!
- You’re our Sales Champion.
- Work directly with our Revenue Management Team on changing pricing in connection to demand in order to ensure maximum revenue performance.
Communication
- You will manage the email process, booking process, phones, etc.
- You will continue to automate as much as possible to ensure we’re on the cutting edge of technology while continuing to have great service.
- You love dealing with customers. You are amazing at solving problems.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working onsite at the hotel.
- Customer service and/or hospitality experience a necessity.
- Based in or open to relocating to Yuma, AZ
- A student of hospitality and an interest in curating amazing customer experiences.
- Flexibility to deal with challenges that come up.
- Comfortable working with passionate, loyal, and oftentimes blunt entrepreneurs.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
