What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveillance Operator position at WinnaVegas Casino Resort?
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily shift operations within the department and shall operate such in accordance with the Gaming Code adopted by the Winnebago Gaming Commission and the Winnebago Tribal Council. Observation of Casino activities with the use of the Surveillance Monitor Room equipment, preparing daily reports, logs, tapes, etc.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Operates CCTV system during their assigned shift
2. Maintains constant vigilance for cheaters, scams and embezzlement
3. Observes procedure compliance and/or policy violations
4. Reports all violations to the respective Shift Supervisor
5. Logs information as directed in the employee information files
6. Is familiar with casino departmental “Policies and Procedures”
7. Must attend all meetings and/or training as directed by management.
8. Performs all duties as assigned

· Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1 – 8 above.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Comprehensive computer skills.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good organizational and clerical skills required.
- Must be able to obtain gaming license.
- Bi-cultural experience preferred.
- Native American preference.
- Must have Table Games knowledge.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
1. Must have a telephone.
2. Must be able to sit thru the duration of the shift.
3. Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.
