Winners Circle Group is seeking a compassionate, licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health to join our multidisciplinary team.
This role focuses on medication management offering a holistic, trauma-informed approach to the behavioral and emotional needs of children and teens.
The ideal candidate has experience working with pediatric populations and is passionate about delivering evidence-based, culturally sensitive psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for children and adolescents
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and Texas regulations
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other providers to develop and implement coordinated care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per agency and state standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development
- Promote a trauma-informed, family-centered, and culturally responsive approach to care
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Certified Nurse Specialist (PMH-CNS)
- Licensed or license-eligible to practice in Texas with prescriptive authority
- Experience working with children and adolescents (strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team
- Experience in school-based, outpatient, or community mental health settings
- Ideally 4-7years of NP experience
- Bilingual or multicultural competence is a plus
