We are looking to hire a self-starter and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Hazard, KY area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of the property and units. Responsible for the grounds upkeep, trash cleanup, unit turns and clean outs, minor plumbing, electrical, painting. Responsible for daily work orders and monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Maintenance Technicians must provide their own tools, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours a week).
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Compensation: $20/hr plus cell phone reimbursement and a one time sign on bonus of $500.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous property, apartment or general maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
- Basic computer skills.
- After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Possess own basic hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
