Work-Life Balance Hybrid Work Schedule – Split your time working remotely and at our Corporate Headquarters in Rosemont, IL Minimal travel required to banking and non-banking locations in and outside of Rosemont (Less than 10%) An entrepreneurial culture with opportunity for growth Position Summary This Auditor will assist with the completion of the Audit Plan and other assurance projects as assigned by audit leadership. This role will work closely with the auditor in charge and audit manager to perform certain tasks during the planning, fieldwork and reporting audit phases. Additionally, this Auditor will be responsible for workpaper quality and timeliness and must possess strong written and oral communication skills to communicate with team members and to communicate audit results to management. Team members are encouraged to think creatively, challenge current processes, build relationships, identify, and evaluate emerging risks, and hold themselves and teammates accountable in a flexible and delivery driven environment. What You’ll Do Execute testing in accordance with department and IIA standards, producing clear and concise documentation that aligns with test objectives. Apply analytical skills to review information, assess audit results, and evaluate adequacy of controls. Participate in process walkthroughs and document narratives and conclusions. Timely communicate with audit team and audit clients. Keep engagement supervisor and/or audit clients informed as to status of work. Perform issue validation as needed. Maintain professional standards as defined by IIA, Internal Audit Charter, and company policies. Obtain and maintain an awareness of organizational, procedural, and technological changes that have occurred / planned to occur within responsible areas. Develop positive working relationship and maintain effective communication with audit leadership team, audit team members, audit clients, and key stakeholders.
