Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for proper installation and repair procedures
- Conduct service calls for system repairs involving refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, plumbing, electrical components, and appliance repair
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues and perform equipment repair or replacement as needed
- Weld and fabricate components using welding techniques to modify or repair HVAC equipment
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and service reports
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems with a strong mechanical background
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation and property maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, appliances, plumbing systems, and general equipment repair
- Field service experience working directly at customer sites with a focus on timely problem resolution
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving
trucks preferred - Additional skills such as welding, boiler operation, or mechanic experience will be considered advantageous
