MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK
Locates logs, delivers, retrieves and files medical records as required. Performs chart analysis and abstracting. Prepares correspondence and records for the release of patient information as directed. Releases medical information from patient medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies and procedures, and federal and state statues. Prepares certificates and other documents. Collects discharge records, properly assembles, analyzes and assigns to appropriate physician for completion.Additional Information
