Does attention to detail and accuracy describe your work ethic? Does our core value of Best in Class motivate you to do your best work? We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist who can bring a strong work ethic and passion for analysis to the payroll team.
In this role, you will partner with team members and field employees to ensure submitted hour accuracy. Reporting to the SR Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing compliance with state laws while processing bi-weekly payroll for the organization.
Your Talents:
- Process biweekly and monthly payrolls
- Importing data from timekeeping system
- Work with field leaders on timekeeping and payroll reporting and issues
- Respond to inquiries sent through email and ticketing system
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Analyze procedures to ensure accuracy of output and adopt continuous improvement approach
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Compile payroll reports and prepare cash spreadsheet after each pay run
- Process final wage payments as required by state regulations
- Process and manage garnishment and child support requests
- Assist employees with direct deposit, tax changes, or payroll related questions
- Ensure accurate employee reporting data in UKGPro
Your Experience:
- 1-2 years payroll processing (UKG/UltiPro), Kronos Experience a plus
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll
- Knowledge of wage withholding orders and garnishments
- Proficient with Microsoft Products (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines and work independently in a time sensitive environment
- Strong communication, attention to detail and technical skills
