ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for an assertive, proactive, and forward-thinking Production Manager to join our team at our Norfolk, Nebraska manufacturing facility . The ideal candidate will be an effective team leader who will provide direction, training, development, support, and mentorship to employees. You will use your well-honed analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to achieve key performance goals for quality, productivity, budgetary, and environmental, health and safety compliance.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Production Manager will be responsible for continuous improvement activities, planning, capital budgets and reporting as required. You will also act as the site champion for Lean Six Sigma processes. This position is accountable for delivering business results and operational improvements.
ABOUT THE DUTIES:
- Ensure production employees are trained and following all plant safety, Food Safety, GMP and sanitation regulations
- Champion continuous improvement activities
- Develop and manage annual budget
- Maintain low cost, high quality, production practices
- Oversee staffing needs of the department

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 to 7 years of manufacturing industry experience as a supervisor, lead or manager
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to direct, motivate and mentor large teams
- Strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
