Financial Analyst

Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Financial Analyst to help ensure our tenant financial records are accurate and up to date, while supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting team. In this role, you'll handle a variety of accounting and financial tasks and work closely with operations, property accountants, the Controller, and the CFO. Key Responsibilities:

• Keep tenant ledgers accurate by posting credits, reapplying payments, and working with Compliance and Operations to fix any billing issues.
• Help property managers resolve check deposit problems.
• Process and deposit miscellaneous checks.
• Complete daily Positive Pay transactions with multiple banks.
• Share bank statements with property accountants when needed.
• Monitor reserve accounts and assist with transfers.
• Oversee the deposit accounting process for all properties.
• Prepare the monthly cash report for executive leadership.
• Coordinate wire transfers as needed.
• Keep insurance records current and notify Regional Managers of upcoming expirations.
• Track and maintain records for property taxes.
• Support the setup of new properties and assist with transitions when contracts end.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting for investors, regulatory agencies, and ownership.
• Performs monthly financial statements.
• Provides backup support as needed for the front desk.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualification:

• Experience in the real estate industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented with the ability to anticipate, identify, and solve financial issues.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and collaboration.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to consistently meet tight monthly reporting deadlines.
• .Familiarity with accounting software; Yardi experience is a plus.
