Position Details:

- Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
- Take accurate measurements and calculate the required size and amount of materials.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials based on measurements.
- Build various structures, including window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings.
- Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls, ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
- Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, installing them as designated.
- Inspect and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
Requirements and Skills: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Provide own tools.
- Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
- Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Good understanding of basic math.
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.
