Wisestaff is seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facility in Murfreesboro, TN. This position is dedicated to ensuring that Veteran beneficiaries receive precise and prompt prescription services, enhancing the quality of care provided to our nation’s heroes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, package, and label prescribed medications for distribution to patients.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper inventory management, including stock rotation and expiration checks.
• Utilize various pharmacy automation equipment, including Autofill devices, Baker Cells, A-frames, and electronic scales.
• Review computer screens and scan prescription orders to accurately select medications by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC).
• Handle and manage hazardous materials and waste safely, adhering to proper precautions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely prescription processing.

Requirements

•  Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) 
• Graduates from accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Programs are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills (e.g., typing, use of PC systems).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
