Inbound Associate: Putaway

Position Summary

The Inbound Associate position is responsible for counting, put-away, replenishing and rotating stock in the warehouse on a daily basis.

Hours:  Day Shift Hours – Monday- Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch.  Occasional Saturdays to work overtime as needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Count and sort merchandise by location, product number and description.
• Store merchandise on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, color or type of material.
• Maintain set amount in bulk and primary locations based on shelf capacity and pick velocity.
• Determine methods of storage and stock location, considering height and weight limits, turnover (pick velocity), floor loading capacities and required.
• Move and transport materials or supplies.
• Perform related duties as required by supervisor.
