Who We're Looking For
A reliable, detail-oriented optical lab professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is confident using lab equipment, organized, and consistent about following established processes and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain optical manufacturing equipment, including lens cutting, grinding, and polishing machines.
- Assemble and fit lenses into frames according to customer orders.
- Inspect finished lenses for defects and ensure they meet prescribed optical and physical specifications.
- Perform final checks on eyewear for alignment, fit, and finish.
- Ensure lab area and equipment is clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in an optical lab is required.
- Proficient with computer software related to optical lab operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
