What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Site Supervisor position at WNCSource?
This position assists in providing quality care in Early Head Start, Head Start, and NC Pre-K programs. It assists in implementing program policies and procedures to provide a high-quality standard for the overall operation of a children’s center. The Assistant Site Supervisor supports the Site Supervisor in general administrative functions to ensure quality, safety, and all applicable local/state/federal program compliance.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. NC Early Childhood Administrative Credential, Level I, is required; Level II preferred.
Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer two years of teaching experience or administrative experience within a NC licensed 5-star child care facility/program.
