Greeter at WOB Bar & Kitchen 

Position Purpose

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming individual to join our team as a Greeter/Host at WOB Bar & Kitchen.  The Greeter will be responsible for greeting and welcoming customers as they enter our establishment. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude in order to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.  They provide a positive first and last impression of WOB Bar & Kitchen (World of Beer) to our customer.  Assist in the flow of the shift to create an organized and relaxed environment.

• Provide our WOB style of service: casual, friendly, fun and perfectly paced to the customer's pace.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, approachable and friendly personality and demeanor
• Friendly & accurate communication skills in handling customers in person and on the phone
• Ability to be a contributing member of the team.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role a plus.
• A warm and welcoming Smile!

Work Requirements

• Ability to stand on your feet and navigate the WOB for the entirety of the shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift 10 lbs.
• Flexible schedule.
• Food Safety Certification within 30 days of hire (must comply with all local and state laws)

Pay: Hourly wage (plus potentially including a share of tips - varies by location)

Reports to: Managing Partner (GM)/ Manager
