Cafeteria Helper - Daily Substitutes
Daily Substitutes (Districtwide) - Many Substitutes are needed at this time.
- Choose which days/shifts you'd like to work based on coverage for day-to-day absences.
- Pay is $16.50 per hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prefer experience working with food, cashiering, and children, but not required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must pass screenings for public school employees, including CORI, fingerprinting and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Job Description:
- Work with cafeteria managers for supplies needed for the days' menu, which includes heating, portioning, cutting, and chopping a variety of food products.
- Responsible for following all HACCP regulations, personal hygiene regulations, uniform regulations, and any state or government regulations required by law.
- Prepares supplies for next day of service.
- Cashiering or serving during school lunch periods.
- Washing down lunch tables between lunches.
- Assuring proper storage of all food.
- Must clean a variety of kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to: mixers, slicers, counter tops, storage areas, service linens, floors, shelves, etc.
- Assist with proper rotation of food and assist with putting all deliveries away.
- Assist with other duties that are assigned by the manager.
