What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Lead Teacher position at Wolfeboro Children's Center?
The Children's Center is looking to fill a full-time Teacher position in one of our Toddler classrooms. This position qualifies for Center Benefits. The teacher will work with a childcare assistant caring for up to 10 children daily. This position requires flexibility with schedule and great communication skills. The candidate will have an understanding of the developmental needs of young children and follow NH state licensing guidelines for childcare. The position reports to the Infant/Toddler Coordinator and works well with the Infant and Toddler team.
Duties
Lead Teacher's are responsible for direct supervision, care, and engagement with children, as well as maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom. Curriculum planning and implementation, daily communication with families, and Center meetings will be required. Engagement in open houses, strengthening families and community events is greatly encouraged.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have 2 years of relevant early childhood experience and meet state requirements for a teaching position. An Associates degree is preferred and must have minimum of 9 ECE credits,
