- Lays out roof for installation per plan. Installs insulation and roof panels ensuring the sheets remain straight and square.
- Works within the project timeline and budget.
- Installs insulation and sidewall panels, ensuring proper layout for the installation of windows and doors as well as other equipment.
- Conducts daily checks of equipment and safe operation procedures.
- Meets welding specifications of the blueprint and passes welding inspections.
- Ensures new employees are familiar with WBG safety procedures and training.
- Cleans work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
- Works as a team player.
- Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have reliable, consistent transportation.
- One (1) or more years relative construction experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Proficient in one of the following: Metal Roofing, Metal Sidewall, Erection of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings.
- Heavy machinery operator cards required for lifts and telehandlers
- Already or willing to become trained in OSHA 10-Hour certified and licensed on equipment.
- Knowledgeable in or willing to learn telehandler hand signals.
- Owns and has readily available at work site the following tools: Tape Measure (at least 25’), Hammer (at least 20 oz.), Utility Knife, Pencils and Sharpies, Speed Square, Tool Pouch, Drill, and Impact Set. ,7/16” to 1 ¼” Socket Set ½” (Preferably Harden Socket, ½” Rachet, 2 5/16” Punches, Box End Wrench Set (up to 15/16”), Vise Grips and Pliers, 4” Grinder, 2 Batteries for each power tool. ,Dry Line, Caulk Box, Right- and Left-Hand Tin Snips, R11 Clamps (Eagle Beaks), ½ inch Small Impact, 2 batteries for all power tools.
