Civil Project Manager – Heavy Civil (DOTD)Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager with heavy civil and Louisiana DOTD experience to manage projects throughout Central Louisiana. This position requires hands-on involvement in both the field and office, overseeing multiple projects at the same time. The ideal candidate will lead crews, coordinate with DOTD and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage heavy civil and DOTD projects from start to finish
- Oversee multiple active projects across Central Louisiana
- Coordinate daily with DOTD, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Monitor field operations to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with DOTD specifications
- Review plans and specifications and support field crews as needed
- Track schedules, costs, change orders, and project documentation
- Participate in progress meetings and provide regular project updates
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing heavy civil DOTD projects
- Experience working in both the field and office
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications
- Comfortable using a computer for documentation and communication
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
