What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at Wonderful Blessed Care inc?
Duties:
- Clean and maintain the household, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Ensure all rooms are organized and presentable
- Perform laundry and ironing tasks as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- Lift and move heavy objects or furniture when necessary
- Manage household systems
- Ensure resident rights and privacy are respected at all times
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance if needed
- Coordinate with external service providers for repairs or maintenance
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in house management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Familiarity with clients within the HCS Program
- Understanding of resident rights and privacy regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects or furniture as required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when working with individuals with autism or special needs
