Primary Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining student academic records at the campus level under minimal supervision. Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus.

High school or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records, including data entry of student information specific to the requirements of the Texas Education Agency
Ability to use software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Basic math skills
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and time-management skills
Assist parents, guardians, and students in a manner that is welcoming and hospitable
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records, Reports, and Correspondence
- Maintain student academic records through the fulfillment of requests from other districts.
- Request new student records, including transcripts, special programs, and student demographic records from other schools.
- Utilize opportunities for training to develop extensive knowledge of the Texas Student Date Standards and Student Attendance Accounting Handbook as they relate to special program and student demographic coding.
- Ensure campus data integrity for accurate PEIMS reporting to TEA through careful examination of student and staff information prior to all submissions.
- Coordinate grade reporting process, including verification and corrections of grades and preparation and distribution of report cards.
- Prepare and distribute University Scholastic League (UIL) eligibility lists.
- Calculate grade point averages, class rank, and prepare honor rolls.
- Assist counselors with the enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer of students.
- Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records and other documents as required.
- Collaborate with administrators to develop a District/Campus Master Schedule in the spring of each year to prepare for the upcoming year.
- Assist with Attendance for Credit meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
