Woodland Resource Services provides full service, 24/7 snow and ice management in Ellensburg, WA. With a fleet of equipment including truck plows, skidsteer plows, sidewalk machines, and ice-melt equipment, our team safely and efficiently clears snow and ice to provide safe travel conditions during winter storms. We are seeking a safe, detailed, and honest Snow Removal Operator to join our team. With less than 10% of time spent shoveling, equipment operation is required, and experience operating equipment is preferred.
The Snow Removal Operator is a seasonal, on-call position from October 1st, 2025, to April 30th, 2026. They will operate a truck or machine plow to clear lots and pile snow in the designated areas. Some shoveling may be required at times to thoroughly clear lots. The ability to follow instructions and maps to complete each site in a thorough, safe, and efficient manner is required. Most work will be done individually, but occasionally there may be a need to work together with another lot or sidewalk operator. Operators will need to be comfortable operating large equipment in confined spaces while being vigilant of surrounding pedestrians, vehicles, and other obstacles.
The schedule is variable depending on snow events and may start at any time but often begins around 1:00am and goes into the afternoon. Consecutive days may be required depending on the size of the storm. There are no guaranteed hours as work depends on the weather, but most winters average 5-10 snow events with full season operators averaging 70 work hours.

Requirements
· At least 18 years old
· Valid US Driver’s License
· Able to pass drug screening and background check
· Flexible schedule with availability to work early morning, daytime, weekends, and up to 16-hour shift as needed during winter storms

Benefits
· $26.50 per hour DOE
· End-of-season performance bonus up to an additional $14 per hour
