Overview
The Woodlands at Canterfield, a brand new Assisted Living and Memory Support community located in West Dundee, Illinois is looking for a highly motivated Housekeeper for the community.
Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting various surfaces, furnishings, equipment and areas throughout the community. This position will also clean and be responsible for the upkeep of resident's apartments/rooms, dining areas, offices, utility rooms, and other areas assigned on a daily basis.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, apartments and bathrooms
- Clean light fixtures, vents, registers, handrail
- Remove trash in offices and all public areas
- Vacuum, mop, sweep all floors and carpet
- Respond to all work orders and perform cleaning projects as assigned
- responsible for keeping carts and closets neat and clean
- Exhibit service-oriented behaviors and actions to help provide a pleasant and supportive environment
- Build positive relationships with residents, associates and co-workers
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: 1 years of housekeeping experince in similar setting
