- Coordinate kitchen activities, purchase supplies, and oversee personnel.
- Schedule staff, run breaks, and direct the kitchen team.
- Manage ordering for deli/kitchen items, including produce and inventory control.
- Communicate daily with the Deli Manager and team regarding products and availability.
- Maintain quality assurance, safety standards, and consistency of products.
- Hire, train, and mentor deli/kitchen staff in product knowledge and customer service.
- Routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Maintain esthetic purity of hot bars, salad bars, and kitchen prepack foods.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions to the best of ability.
