Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their current physical fitness level and health goals
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on individual needs and goals
- Monitor and track patients' progress during exercise sessions
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions
- Provide guidance and support to patients during exercise sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with patients
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments, including measuring vital signs and evaluating physical fitness levels
- In-depth knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to exercise physiology
- Ability to develop and implement personalized exercise programs based on individual needs and goals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt exercise programs as needed
- Experience in health coaching or counseling is a plus
