We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for apartment leasing, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with residents. If you have experience in real estate jobs and are passionate about sales and leasing, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market, show, and lease apartments to prospective residents in a courteous and prompt manner.
- Meet prospective residents, establish rapport, and gather their requirements, such as the type of property, budget, financial status, and preferred location.
- Maintain an accurate and updated inventory of available apartments, lists of prospective residents, and renewal information.
- Verify rental applications for accuracy and completeness per company and housing regulations.
- Build and maintain good relationships with current residents by offering excellent customer service and addressing their concerns.
- Assist in the move-in/move-out process, ensuring that apartments are clean and attractive.
- Prepare move-in and welcome packages.
- Process service requests for maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be asked to work at other WPMC properties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a leasing consultant or in related sales experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented and a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license with a clear Motor Vehicle Record.
