Estimated annual base pay: $49,500(minimum) - $61,900 (midpoint)

Under the direction of COE Procurement, the Buyer creates, reviews and maintains valid plans of material and manages the supply base in order to meet customer demand.

What you will be doing...
- Plans, schedules, releases, and manages purchase, interplant orders and work orders.
- Executes and manages Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's)
- Formulates Requests for Quotes based on COE Requirements
- Sources selection and award of direct or indirect material purchase orders
- Performs price analysis for competitive and non-competitive procurements
- Develops and executes strategies for negotiation of purchase order terms
- Conducts post-award supplier management with a focus on internal customer support
- Works with suppliers to resolve material issues
- Maintains communication channels between departments and the Supply Chain
- Participates in capacity review meetings and CI/Lean projects.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or International equivalent) in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- APICS (Association of Production and Inventory Control Society) or CPSM/CPM (Certified Professional in Supply Management/Certified Purchasing Manager) preferred.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
