Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of rigging techniques and the ability to operate various types of machinery. The Rigger will work closely with other team members to ensure that all lifting and moving operations are conducted safely and effectively.

Duties

• Set up and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, or position heavy loads.
• Collaborate with crane operators and other personnel to determine the best rigging methods for each job.
• Inspect rigging equipment, including slings, chains, and hooks, to ensure safety standards are met.
• Operate loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, and water trucks as needed during projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on rigging equipment and machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety on-site.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in rigging or related fields is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience operating cranes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with water truck operations and digging techniques is an advantage.
• Valid commercial driving license may be required based on job assignments.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
