Machine Operator in Training, $ 20.00 / hr - 1st Shift - Huger, SC
Workbox Staffing is hiring Machine Operator in Huger.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect arbor and overarm setups to ensure compliance with production instructions
- Review and record gauge, width, hardness, camber, burr, and surface condition and ensure compliance with production instructions
- Run coils at maximum speed, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Skills :
- Knowledge of current crane and forklift operation preferred
- Ability to perform complete setup and operational tasks of the machine to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to accurately use tape measures, Rockwell tester, digital calipers, digital / dial indicators, height gauge, computer, part specific gauges, and micrometers
As a Machine Operator your main responsibility is to set up and operate the machine according to customer specifications and work orders.
Your detail, safety, and attentiveness are critical to regular equipment inspection and the ability to measure dimensions, align parts and produce material according to production instructions.
