Do you want to lead the growth of a rising sports league with passionate fans and global momentum? The World Ninja League is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to own our brand, drive engagement, and shape the world's perception of the sport of Ninja.
As the primary owner of the league’s marketing and communications strategy, this individual will lead the organization's branding efforts. This includes event promotion, livestream production, community engagement, and digital storytelling. This is a leadership role, ideal for someone excited to roll up their sleeves in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while also owning big-picture strategy.
Brand & Marketing Strategy
- Own and evolve the league’s brand identity, voice, and creative direction across all platforms.
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans that support major events, livestreams, partnerships, and athlete engagement.
- Align marketing strategy with league growth goals and stakeholder priorities.
Content & Communication
- Handle the creation and distribution of marketing content (email campaigns, social posts, website updates, press releases, etc.).
- Manage a publishing calendar to ensure consistent and on-brand communications before, during, and after events.
- Lead Livestream production (graphics, photography, livestream assets, promotional video content) (training provided if needed).
Digital Engagement & Performance
- Manage the league's digital presence, including website content, livestream presentation, and social media strategy.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Collaborate with partners and sponsors to amplify key campaigns and brand activations.
Team & Project Leadership
- Supervise support staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure the quality and timeliness of execution.
- Serve as the project manager for all marketing initiatives, utilizing tools such as Asana.
- Lead marketing meetings, own documentation (agendas, action items), and drive accountability on follow-through.
Community Relations & Events
- Coordinate communications with local communities, gyms, and fans to deepen grassroots engagement.
- Partner with the Events team on merchandise, signage, livestream elements, and onsite brand presence.
- Lead the competition livestream production (training provided if needed).
Required:
- 2 years of experience in marketing or brand management (preferably in sports, entertainment, or youth-focused sectors).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
- Excellent writing, visual communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Based or willing to relocate to Hainesport, NJ
- Willingness to travel and work weekends during major events.
Preferred:
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with WordPress (basic website editing) and Vmix (or willingness to learn).
- Comfortable managing livestreams or digital media production.
- Passion for youth athletics, sports entertainment, or the ninja community.
