Responsibilities
The Cashier is also responsible for all customer transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials. Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier.
- Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.
- Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.
- Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
- Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling and climbing a ladder; ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply! Any experience in a retail or golf environment is a plus
- General golf knowledge/background is a plus, but not required
