Candidates with prior Civil Construction experience will be given preference, but all are encouraged to apply.

Your Responsibilities
- Uses various hand tools & power tools to perform tasks.
- Runs and operates small equipment.
- Assists with all aspects of concrete. Builds forms, smoothes and finishes freshly poured concrete.
- Positions, joins, aligns, welds and seals pipe sections.
- Mops, brushes, or spreads paints or compounds over surfaces for protection.
- Sprays materials such as water, sand, steam, tar, or paint, through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
- Grinds, sands, or polishes various surfaces.
- Assists with all aspects of construction: Demolishes buildings, saws lumber, dismantles forms, concrete work, constructs elements of buildings, asphalt work, lifts and moves objects, etc.
- WRS laborers may be asked to stand a fire watch, hole watch or pump watch. They also may be asked to be a truck spotter or rider.
- Understands elevations as it relates to grade, piping, and slope.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to problem solve in various situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Candidates with prior Civil Construction experience will be given preference, but all are encouraged to apply.
