What You Will Do:

• Support WSB’s offices and clients on mapping requests and spatial data analysis projects.
• Continue to foster relationships and generate new work from existing clients for WSB.
• Support Project Managers with mapping, data management, and high-level project tasks.
• Collaborate with other WSB GIS staff on projects.
• Develop, maintain, and update feature classes and GIS databases.
• Perform desktop editing, data creation, and data entry within the ArcGIS Platform.
• Be involved in post-processing, data management, and quality control of field collected data.
• Perform spatial and tabular data analysis.
• Create high quality mapping products.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong experience using Esri ArcGIS software: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online.
• Experience with scripting in Arcade, Python, Esri Model Builder.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Sound data management practices.
• Familiarity with cartographic methods and ability to read and understand maps.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Cartography, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in GIS field.

Our preferred candidate will have:

• Experience in the Municipal (local government) sector, the Oil & Gas industry, and the renewable energy market.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering record drawings.
• Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D to export/extract data.
• Proficiency working in ArcGIS Online and Esri’s field solutions including ArcGIS Hub, Story Maps, Field Maps.
• Knowledge and working experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and RESTful map services.
• Experience with GPS hardware and/or drone data collection.
• Experience working with database management systems; SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of data intelligence and Geo Analytics.
