Description
Responsible for operating and maintaining CNC press brakes to produce quality parts per print.
- Determines set up and operating procedures from job tickets.
- Prepares presses for production, mixing ink, adjusting calibrations and machine setting and reviewing proof documents.
- Operates presses to produce high quality fabricated sheet metal parts.
- Maintains work area to assure consistent operations and clean orderly workstations.
- Performs minor equipment repairs and maintenance to presses.
- Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and situations to other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as work orders and blueprints.
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
