What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervised Visitation Specialist position at Wyandotte Nation?
Under the direct supervision of the Family Violence Prevention Program Manager, the employee is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the Supervised Visitation Program. Specialist will implement procedures, recommend policies designed to enhance the effectiveness and further the initiatives of the program. The Specialist will supervise all visitations, and will complete all necessary documentation after each visitation. The employee will be “on-call” for emergencies and will be available as a back up to program advocates to provide services to victims as needed. Services provided to both the victim and their dependents include, but are not limited to, advocacy, court accompaniment, resource and referral, and direct services. Employee will participate in outreach and awareness events to help promote the program. Also, must pass background check, physical, drug testing and maintain a valid driver’s license. This is a grant-funded position.
