Position Summary:
The Auto Service Advisor acts as the liaison between our customers and service technicians. You’ll be responsible for understanding customer concerns, communicating recommended services, and ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience from drop-off to pickup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet service customers promptly and in a friendly, professional manner
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests
- Create repair orders and provide clear, honest estimates for time and cost
- Communicate with technicians to determine necessary repairs and relay findings to customers
- Keep customers informed of vehicle status throughout the service process
- Recommend additional services in a customer-focused and ethical manner
- Handle service scheduling, warranty claims, and follow-ups
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve issues when they arise
- Maintain strong product knowledge of Chevrolet models and service processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role (automotive experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and service software (Dealertrack experience a plus)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED required (college or technical training a plus)
