Job Responsibilities
• Greet customers upon arrival and provide them with menus
• Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers
• Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals
• Process customer payments and provide change
• Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Clean tables and remove used dishes
• Set up tables with clean linen, condiments, and other needed items
• Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
• Ensure that all food and drinks are served in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Refill drinks as needed
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
Job Requirements
o Ability to memorize menu items, descriptions, and prices
o Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously
o Ability to take guests' orders accurately and in a timely fashion
o Ability to recommend menu items
o Ability to upsell menu items
o Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
o Ability to operate a cash register
o Ability to understand and follow health and safety regulations
o Ability to work well with fellow servers and kitchen staff
o Ability to properly clean and reset tables
o Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to stand for long periods of time
