Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in accounting or finance and gain hands-on experience in billing, payments, and customer account management. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with creating and sending customer invoices
• Record and apply customer payments accurately
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with follow-ups
• Respond to basic customer billing questions via email or phone
• Help reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, accounting software)
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
