Summary

The Background Screening Processor assesses data from various databases and information systems to fulfill requested information related to the applicant's background, financial information, possible criminal history, credit history, etc. Analyzes findings and prepares summary reports with appropriate documentation.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday with hours from 11:00am to 7:00pm EST. The targeted compensation range for this position is $18/hr - $21/hr, but compensation is commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive background checks on potential candidates, including employment history, educational credentials, professional licenses, certifications, and references.
• Utilize various tools and resources to gather information and verify the accuracy of provided details.
• Conduct criminal record checks, credit checks, and other screenings as required by company policies and relevant regulations.
• Verify the authenticity of identification documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of background check results and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations regarding the handling and storage of sensitive candidate information.
• Stay updated on changes in background screening regulations and industry best practices.
• Apply knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Interpret court dockets to extract relevant information crucial for background checks.
