SUMMARY :

The Senior Developer, Front End at SharperLending (Xactus), will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of all fintech applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to conceptualize and develop high-quality software solutions for the fintech industry.
Design, implement, and maintain front-end applications, leveraging technologies including Angular, AngularJS, Typescript, and Javascript.
Quickly acquire proficiency in new technologies and programming languages as required to meet project demands.
Conduct comprehensive code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize application performance, and implement security best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, actively participating in knowledge-sharing within the team.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

High-School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in front-end development, with expertise in Angular.

SKILLS AND COMPETENTCIES :

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Strategic Leadership : Define, communicate, and implement the QA vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives.

Strong hands-on, leadership skill, analytical problem-solving skills, quick to learn and adapt.

Self-motivated, creative problem solver, organized, collaborative with excellent

communication skills.

Application testing experience with hands-on designing, testing complex applications leading into zero / minimum prod issues.

Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test cases and through to implementation.

Deep understanding of design principles, Agile practices, QA theory, automation

practices and tools for consumer facing products and APIs.

Experience with programming languages such as Angular, AngularJS, Typescript, and Javascript and test automation frameworks leveraging tools such as Selenium and open-source tools.

Excellent Communication, Time Management, Reporting and Analytical Skills.

Experience with application testing in cloud environments.

Experience with workflow tools and rules engines / processing is a plus.

Use of standards for automation testing, documentation, release and configuration management and expertise in CI / CD.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Traditional office environment with low-to-moderate office noise (computers, phones and business conversations). The position may be remote from main offices.

May require flexibility in hours.
