We’re hiring for a Parkwide Carpenter to Live. Work. Explore. in Columbia Falls, Montana!
Job Summary:
This position is the support role with the planning, scheduling and implementing the workload.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Starts Immediately and extends until early-October 2024
Pay: $20.40/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours (depending on time of season). May include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Housing: Employee housing is not available

Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, repair and upkeep at all property locations.
- Clean work areas, machines, or equipment to maintain a clean and safe work site.
- Follow OSHA and Xanterra’s environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year general maintenance and/or carpentry experience.
- Knowledge of historic structures and preservation.
- Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Our candidate must have the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, kneel, and crawl for extended periods of time.
- Working safely with required chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Required to drive a company vehicle; a driving record check will be completed as part of the standard pre-employment background check.
