Who are we looking for?

The Billing Analyst is responsible for reviewing data trends and generating reports that support the customer experience. The Billing Analyst will partner with Customer Account Managers and Customer Service team members to educate customers on the data to maximize reimbursements.

This position requires a highly data-oriented individual with the ability to use Tableau and Excel to manipulate and report out on data. Additionally, this person must be able to translate analytical concepts to a general audience and be able to communicate effectively cross-functionally.

How much experience are you looking for?

You may be hired as an Associate Billing Analyst, or a Billing Analyst based on your depth of skill and breadth of experience.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $24.00 to $26.00, hourly base compensation. Please note this range is an estimate; actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

What will you do?

  • Create reports in Tableau for the Call Center based on available data
  • Provide regular reporting on accession Reimbursement
  • Trends in errors and denials
  • Monitor and communicate key metrics for customer success

What education and experience do you need?

A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science or a relevant discipline required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry
  • Analytic thought process for investigating issues, identifying root causes, and resolving them
  • Ability to communicate technical issues easily and effectively at all levels of organization
  • Advanced proficiencies in Excel
  • Solid experience with medical billing software coupled with a strong understanding of medical billing practices, preferably for laboratories
  • Experience with Payor relations
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
