The Cargo Care Coordinator has the primary responsibility of reviewing, investigating, and processing quality data regarding overage, shortage, and damage freight.
Responsibilities
What the Cargo Care Coordinator will be doing at XGS...
- Investigate issues involving freight as they relate to overages, shortages, damages and misloads (problem solving)
- Determine when “APB” s (All Points Bulletins) should be initiated
- Input Exceptions into AS400 for “OS&D” freight
- Support service center management & administrators in resolution of exceptions
- Inform service center management & administrators of proper procedures in documenting and resolving OS&D issues
- Provide customer and service center support to resolve “OS&D” issues
- Process “on-hands” notifications to customers
- Perform inspections at customers to document “OS&D” issues
- Process “Return Authorization” loads
- Participate in daily dock quality audit walk
- Work on XGS site (availability to travel) while performing essential functions
- Communicate with shippers regarding any relatable quality concerns
- Dock clean ups (if applicable)
Qualifications
We are looking for ideal candidates with...
- High School diploma / GED required
- 1-3 years Clerical Experience, preferably in the transportation industry
- AS400 experience preferred
- Computer literacy required

- Consistently maintains excellent personal attendance records.
- Frequently lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Climb stairs
- Sit for long periods of time
- Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
- Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate object
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office machines
- Correctable vision and hearing
- Clear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of telephone communication

The XGS working environment...
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services.
