Position Summary
The Real Estate Financial Analyst will support the Yale Realty division by analyzing financial statements, occupancy reports, and relative market data to provide valuations, offering memorandums, and other offering collateral for our clients and investors.
The analyst will be primarily responsible for supporting our nationwide team of real estate associates with valuations of MH & RV assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency or have experience in analyzing financial statements & occupancy data, sourcing key metrics in the relevant submarket, and use all data gathered to accurately project and value future cash flows. They will also understand key real estate financial terms & principles as well as how the microeconomic environment affects asset valuations. This role requires an organized individual who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic, has the ability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously, and reacts quickly to everchanging priorities. This is an in-office position located in Miami, Florida.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze seller financials, occupancy data, and relevant asset data to project cash flows
- Utilize local & national resources and internal databases to perform extensive due diligence for each valuation
- Perform DCF analysis or direct capitalization analysis to value single and portfolio assets
- Utilize InDesign and other programs to create BOV’s, Offering Memorandums, and other offering collateral
- Perform market rent survey and gather comparable sales data as needed
- Collaborate with marketing team and broker associates to bring deals to market
- Master’s or Undergraduate Degree focusing on Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar field
- Knowledge of basic real estate financial terms and principles
- Intermediate experience in creating a DCF and capitalization excel models
- Experience or proficiency in calculating levered and unlevered IRR’s, ROI’s, GRM’s, etc.
- Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate multiple data points and effectively communicate findings in both written and verbal form clearly and concisely
- A self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly, independently, and check your own work
- Intermediate experience with MS Office, especially Excel, experience with InDesign is a plus
- Proficiency or experience in data gathering from various sources and compiling the data into logical charts, graphs, and/or tables
The Successful Applicant
- Master’s or Undergraduate Degree focusing on Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar field
- Knowledge of basic real estate financial terms and principles
