- Essential Functions 1.1 Assumes responsibility for the operational needs of the nursing division and for the nursing care delivered during the assigned shift
- Essential Functions ( continued) 2.1 Consults with patients/families through primary nurse request, direct family request, and/or direct assessment of patient/family response to hospitalization.

- List core competency 8.1 List duty/task determing competency Qualifications EDUCATION BS preferred. EXPERIENCE Five years recent clinical experience in relevant area of nursing practice. Previous nursing management experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency. Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills, ability to deal well with people, to problem solve, to confront/resolve issues, to motivate others, to plan, organize, and direct the activities of others.
