What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRNA / Anesthesiologist Asst position at Yale New Haven Health?
At Yale New Haven Health, we seek a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA, you will provide exceptional patient care in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures.

Clinical Care
- Implement accurate, safe, patient-centered anesthetic care.
- Understand physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures, constantly monitoring vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines.
- Ensure appropriate documentation within the accordance of hospital and regulatory requirements and protect information of all forms from unauthorized access modification, destruction, or intentional or accidental disclosure.
Quality Management
- Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
- Engage in projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs, with a current State of Connecticut Nursing License, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Connecticut. Clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line is recommended but not required.
Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
