Performs a wide variety of administrative duties and program support to insure operational effectiveness of the Graduate Medical Education function within the organization. Position provides required support to the DIO to meet ACGME guidelines and requirements.

Responsibilities
- 1. Provides support to and coordination of the Graduate Medical Education function This includes, but is not limited to:
- 1.1 Under direction of the DIO/Chair, organizes Accreditation and Compliance requirements for ACGME accredited programs.
- 2. Working with the DIO, validates information provided to confirm all residents/fellows have current required registrations in place including:
- 2.1 Permit to Practice
- 3. Oversight and disposition of all Immigrations issues for residents
- 3.1 Along with DIO/Chair, acts as liaison to Immigrations Counsel for all residents on H1B visas
- 4. Under the Direction of the DIO/Chair, Assists in the coordination of the Annual Institutional Review/GME Dashboard
- 4.1 Collects data from programs, ACGME and other sources throughout the year to update dashboard
- 5. Under direction of DIO/Chair, Insures Institutional Policies as required by the ACGME are in place
- 5.1 Reviewing with DIO/Chair, insures current policies meet changing requirements
- 6. Insures programs are aware of required program policies
- 7. Supporting DIO/Chair, provides financial analyses of Medical Education
- 7.1 Develops annual budget for review by DIO/Chair and finance
- 8. Functions as the institutions MedHub (GME information system) Administrator
- 8.1 Institution liaison with MedHub
- 9. Works in collaboration with the Medical Education Assistant
- 10. Assists Chair, Medical Education and DIO with tasks/projects as required
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent require (eg. C-TAGME)
EXPERIENCE
In lieu of educational requirements, ten (10) or more years working in graduate medical education in a teaching hospital GME or program office.
LICENSURE
TAGME certification preferred
SPECIAL SKILLS
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work. Willingness and ability to learn Residency Management Information System (MedHub).
Additional Information
HOURS: Full time; Days 9am-5pm
Experience with VISA's and Graduate Medical Education preferred.
