Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Assistant Chief Technologists, demonstrates ability to perform a wide variety of routine and some special technical procedures in the Blood Bank Laboratory. Demonstrates good time management and organizational skills. Interprets data based on knowledge and experience. Selects appropriate blood products to ensure safe and effective transfusion therapy. Evaluates, troubleshoots and solves routine problems. Participates in quality control, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance programs in the laboratory.
Duties:
- Perform specimen collection processing and data management.
- Conduct laboratory techniques including CT assays.
- Manage laboratory operations efficiently.
- Ensure accurate vital signs recording.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve research goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in DNA isolation and clinical laboratory work.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills for effective laboratory management.
- Ability to work in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing and CT assays.
